­­We are a Brazillian fursuit studio run by Melon and Café, focused on turning characters into fluffy creations.Our fursuit-making experience goes back to 2018, and we work with clients worldwide, creating all pieces by hand with care and attention to detail.

Thank you for choosing Muridae Studio for your fursuit! By commissioning or purchasing from us, you agree to the following Terms of Service (TOS). These terms govern all custom commissions, premade suits, repairs, and related services.The following terms are valid from January 2026 on, and we reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. The version in effect at the time of commission is the one that applies.

ㅤ01. Age Requirements
Clients must be 18 years or older to commission our services.
To confirm age, we require a photo of a valid ID showing name and date of birth. All other information may be censored. Failure to provide age verification will result in commission refusal or cancellation.

ㅤ02. Payment
A non-refundable 30% deposit is required to confirm any commission and secure a slot in our queue. The remaining balance may be paid according to one of the following payment plans:Full Payment Plan: 100% of the total commission price paid upfront.50/50 Payment Plan: 50% down payment to confirm the commission and 50% due before shipping.30/30/40 Payment Plan: 30% down payment to confirm the commission, 30% due at a predefined production milestone, and the remaining 40% due before shipping.Alternative payment plans may be discussed in advance and must be mutually agreed upon by both parties before production begins.The full balance must be paid before shipping. Muridae Studio does not ship unpaid items.If the remaining balance is not paid within 30 days after the commission is completed, the commission will be cancelled. In this case, any amount paid beyond the initial 30% deposit will be refunded, and the fursuit may receive minor adjustments before being resold as a premade.All payments are accepted exclusively via PayPal.

ㅤ03. Premade Fursuits
Premade items are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. The full payment is required upfront and no refunds are available once the item has been shipped.After purchase, clients may request paid upgrades or small modifications, subject to approval.

ㅤ04. Standart commissions
Commission slots open periodically. Quotes are requested via form, which is announced on our social medias and websites, and are valid for 30 days. After this period, a new quote must be requested, and prices may change.To confirm a quote, an inicial deposit is required (as stated on topic 02), and once confirmed, the client is added to our public Trello queue. Updates are provided via email, Trello, and any of the client’s preferred social platform.All quotes require complete character references, commission type (head, mini partial), measurements (metric system preferred) and preferred payment plan.

ㅤ05. Artistic Liberty Commissions
Artistic Liberty Commissions are a type of commission in which the client does not provide a finished character design and grants Muridae Studio full creative freedom to develop one.For this commission type, the client may offer general direction such as species, one main color, overall vibe, aesthetic references, or a mood board. The final character design and all creative decisions will be made by the Studio, and the character concept remains entirely our intellectual property until the commission is fully paid.Due to the nature of Artistic Liberty Commissions, revisions are limited, and design choices are considered final once approved. This option is ideal for clients who trust Muridae Studio’s artistic vision and wish to receive a unique, original character.

ㅤ06. Artistic Limitations
All Muridae Studio products are handmade and may present minor variations in color, texture, shape, or proportions. These differences are natural and should be expected when translating a 2D design into a 3D wearable costume.Muridae Studio does not copy the artistic style, patterns, or construction methods of other makers. We work exclusively with our own techniques and trusted suppliers, and if a client requests the use of alternative materials or suppliers, all additional material and shipping costs must be fully covered by the client.All character references provided must be owned by the client or properly licensed. We do not accept commissions involving copyrighted characters, unlicensed designs, art generated by AI or any content that infringes intellectual property rights.

ㅤ07. Shipping & Customs
Shipping costs are included in the commission quote unless stated otherwise. The client is fully responsible for any additional customs fees, import taxes, or charges applied by their country. Muridae Studio does not handle the shipping process directly and is not responsible for delays, losses, or damages caused by postal or courier services once the package has been shipped.

ㅤ08. Communication
Official communication is conducted via email. At the client’s request, we may also communicate through a preferred social media platform. Timely responses from the client are essential for maintaining production schedules, and the lack of communication may result in production delays and, in prolonged cases, commission cancellation without refund.All communication must remain respectful and appropriate at all times. Harassment, aggressive behavior, or inappropriate conduct will not be tolerated.

ㅤ09. Queue & Deadlines
Once the initial payment has been received, the client is added to Muridae Studio’s queue, which is managed through Trello. The queue allows clients to view their position or the progress of their commission.An estimated completion timeframe is provided with the quote and is typically around three months. However, deadlines are not guaranteed and may be affected by material delays, lack of client communication, or unforeseen circumstances beyond the Studio’s control. Any significant changes to the estimated timeline will be communicated to the client as soon as possible.Muridae Studio does not offer rush commissions. We also do not accept commissions with fixed or client-imposed deadlines.

ㅤ10. Cancelations and Refunds
The initial 30% deposit is non-refundable after three days due to material purchases and reservation of production time. No refunds will be issued once a commission is fully completed.If a cancellation is requested before completion, a partial refund may be issued excluding the non-refundable deposit, and the unfinished item will be converted into a premade for resale. All cancellation and refund requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

ㅤ11. Repairs & Warranty
Muridae Studio offers a 30-day repair warranty, valid only for the original buyer and only if the repair is requested within this period. Repairs related to normal wear and use of Muridae products may be offered, provided if the client covers shipping costs and any necessary materials. The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, third-party modifications, accidents, or improper storage.

ㅤ12. Blacklist Policy
Muridae Studio reserves the right to refuse or cancel any commission at any time. Reasons may include, but are not limited to, harassment, threats, concerning legal history, support of criminal activities such as pedophilia or zoophilia, hate speech, discrimination, or any behavior deemed unsafe or inappropriate. Clients who violate these terms or engage in unacceptable behavior may be placed on a blacklist, resulting in the permanent loss of the right to future commissions and refunds.

ㅤ13. Business Hours
Our studio operates Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (GMT-3). Messages, updates, and progress reports are handled exclusively during these hours, and we do not provide service outside of business hours. Any planned closures due to holidays, events, or special circumstances will be communicated in advance.

ㅤ14. Acceptance of Terms
By commissioning Muridae Studio, the client confirms that they have read, understood, and fully agreed to these Terms of Service. Failure to comply with these terms may result in immediate commission cancellation without refund.

Below you’ll find our current base pricing and a brief description of what each commission includes. All prices are in USD and subject to change, final quote may vary based on materials and design complexity. The base prices are for a fursuit with 2 colors, simple markings, short/nub tail and no extra details. Make sure you have read our Terms of Service! :D

HEAD: Our fursuit heads are crafted using a casted foam base, designed for comfort and durability. Each head is fully lined for a clean and comfortable interior finish and includes a detailed mouth with a removable and bendable tongue and a set of removable eyelids for added expression. The head features a removable neck, pickable nose, air vents hidden in the ears for improved airflow, and adjustable internal head straps to ensure a secure and comfortable fit during wear.

PAWS: Our paws are fully lined for comfort and longevity. Commissioners may choose between four or five fingers, as well as hooves or other paw styles. Each pair is made using a Klofsuits pattern and includes finger escapes for practical use. Optional claws can be added upon request for an additional level of detail.

TAILS: All tails are made with a hidden belt loop for easy attachment and a clean appearance while worn. The starter size is 30 cm, but can be changed to match the character design. Tails are filled with polyfill stuffing, providing a lightweight yet plushy structure that holds its shape during use.

ARTISTIC LIBERTY: These commissions are ideal for clients who want a fully original character design created by Muridae Studio. The commissioner may choose general elements such as animal, creature, or hybrid type, character gender, color or color palette, and overall vibe or aesthetic. Optional details like whiskers, horns, larger tails, wings, or other fursuit features may also be requested. Mood boards or inspiration images are welcome. However, Muridae Studio will not follow reference sheets or existing designs, as the final character concept and design will be entirely original and created by the Studio.
